Everyone is welcome for the draw, but please please indicate if you want to be added for the draw and if possible to leave your e-mail address so i know where to contact you. It will be open until friday, 02 October, hopefully we are back by then.

In a few hours, me and hubby will go away for a few days or until thursday evening, i hope as i promised the kids to pick them up by then. We are going to the next island here; Terschelling. Hubby has to follow a course over there and he wants me to accompany him, i was really reluctant at first as i think of the kids but now the children are looking forward staying at MIL place, that's Grace and Chris at one of his friends place.
It is my first time to visit the island so i am quite excited to go there, haven't had time though to find out on the net over the place. Oh well, will see ....
It's been really busy the last couple of days i wasn't able to visit blogs, hope to catch up next week.

Hope everyone's having a good weekend!

Thought an update .....

.... here while dh took Chris to his guitar lesson. It will gonna be busy the coming days, like tomorrow friday had to meet up with an architecture for the renovation of the house, and then out to dinner with some friends but the kids aren't coming. They'll have pancakes with Grace friends here but i promised to help them prepare it before we go out. Saturday will be to Chris football the whole morning and then to a birthday party late afternoon. Sunday will be another story...

Anyway, I arrived quite early at the ship yesterday morning and hubby's still working as the one who will take over his position haven't arrived yet. The person has to travel quite from afar and with the train while it took me a bit more than an hour drive after the ferry. Good i took a book with me to pass the time.

Here's what i started for the cushion series. Really like stiching these designs, only now i noticed i cut the pieces quite small to be finish into a cushion.

Oh well, really can't resist making one for myself, as i like it so much. Here's a picture of both pinkeeps before sending to Doris.

Thanks a lot for stopping by and all your kind comments. Your visits are always highly appreciated.

I am kind of disappointed right now, i am supposed to go and pick hubby tomorrow but he just called that they are at sea and hopefully be back on land tomorrow night. Will have to wait another day...oh well another stitchy night then. I'm sure when he's home stitching will be set aside as we have quite some plans or rather appointments that were already scheduled, not much relaxation i'm afraid.

I hope everyone's week is off to good start!

!! Happy 15th Anniversary to me & hubby!!

This bouquet of roses was just delivered a few minutes ago. Isn't it simply gorgeous!!! So beautifully arranged! I LOVE it!! Thanks to my dear husband for these lovely surprise!
I do hope it will last a while and until hubby comes home early next week and see what he has ordered.

15 years...i can't really believe we are married so long and it's the first time we are apart during this event so we will have to wait to celebrate it.

I am sorry i haven't started it right away, just wasn't in the mood for stitching lately . Now, after finishing a couple of small pieces i thought to start this bigger one and here's my progress so far.

And here's a card i've just completed for a friend who had moved to another house recently.

Lisa S. was picked by Chris as the winner for the July giveaway. I just read you will like a mattress pincushion, haven't started yet as i am not sure what are your preferences, hope to hear from you plus your address too.

Thank you all who takes the time to come by and all the nice comments you leave for me. Feeling much better now and getting back to normal routines. Two more weeks and then hubby will be home too. So, i think i really have to try and do lots of stitching before he comes....

Hope you are all having a good week!
