Flatfold, WIP, RAK & march update...

This cute Easter design is a freebie from Vinniey.
Saw it from someone's blog last March and glad i was able to
stitched it up just in time for Easter.

Worked a little bit on the sampler....

Received this lovely gift from Cath early in March. Thanks so much, Cath. It was a such a nice suprise!
Sure miss participating in exchanges but being too busy here
i couldn't promise anything.

March was a very busy month, glad hubby was home then.
Activities for the kids to go too and also for friends
& family gatherings.

Above picture was when we were invited by friends for dinner
at school where their daughter's doing the cooking.

Since our daughter still unsure what she's going to follow for the university
we've signed here in for a 'career insight test' which was in Utrecht.
It took two days so we had to booked in a hotel, while she's in for the
test me & Kees went out a bit for sightseeing and shopping!

It's Chris second year taking guitar lessons, partly a solo lessons and a band one. As a band they've participated at one of the activities organized by the school(music) and won second place.

Thanks so much for the Easter greetings and all the lovely comments. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.

time flies....

Can't believe it's been more than a month since my last post. Thought i was into a good start with my stitching the beginning of february but after posting those WIP's pics, honestly haven't had much time to work on any of it. Shame...shame...Oh well, it just got busy at work and with one thing and another here at home for the kids and a couple of weeks ago hubby gets home so we're trying to catch up on all things..paperworks and socializing.

Was able to stopped by at the fields on my way to town for some groceries this morning and took these pics. Lots of spring lambs around now.

Promised a cousin of mine to stitched these orchids serie last year, was able to do the first serie before 2011 ends and just started the second serie the beginning of February. It gets more complicated with all the half stitches and backtstitches which puts me off to work further but do hope to continue sooooooooon!

A very busy socializing last weekend, from one party to another! Actually started midweek, on thursday evening putting the dolls for "Sarah" & "Abraham".
The follwing midnight(friday), brought the dolls to the celebrant.

I find it difficult to say NO if we are invited for any occassion, so we are off to another friends birthday saturday afternoon till early evening....

...rush home at 7:30pm to change for the big party where we've brought the dolls the night before and partied till late hours.

Atleast the week starts quietly, hope for the whole week...

Thank you all so much for your continued visits on my blog especially to those who takes the time to leave me a comment. I truly appreciate them all.

Time is moving way toooo fast!

Hello!! Wonder if anyone still knows me...been out of blogs and groups for a long while...away visiting family & friends last December till the first week of january. Back the 6th of January and had really difficulty getting back to normal routine especially when hubby left to sea after a week. He'll be away for six weeks this time so 3 more weeks and then he'll be home.

Honestly, have much spare time but my mind is not to it either reading/visiting blogs or stitching. Glad i am working a few days a week and that really keeps me busy as i do feel homesick!! If i am not working, been out for walks or just sits...daydreaming?!?

Did try and pick up my stitching on and off for the last days and happy i can show something. It's the last serie of the Seasons SAL from Novalee02 Les Croix(Carole).

Here's a couple(collage) of pics during our visit home. We were mainly at home for family especially for my parents as they are healthwise not been well. Much as we want to explore it will have for other times.

Snow...beautiful views but i'm not happy when i need to drive, not all roads were cleaned only the main ones. It sure slippery here in the village!

Hope everyone's having a good week. Thank you to those of you who left comments on my last post. I really appreciate it!!
