Flower show..

A week ago, been to a flower show indoor. Lots of different Spring flower bulbs were presented, and so beautifully arranged. Think the area is as big as basketball court and were all filled with differrent arrangement of spring beauties. Below pictures were just a few...

Been stitching lots recently for Easter ornaments, a few are on it's way to friends, still not yet done for my friends here around.

In between Easter stitching, finished this small pillow, love seeing lots of crocusses apearing here and there:

Weekend off which is seldom for me, as it's so cold outside i thought of starting a bigger project...love the Flower design which is featured on the new issue of Cross Stitcher magazine so that kept me busy the whole afternoon, finding the right fabric i wanted to use and all the DMC colours. Well, manage to finish one of the flowers:

February ornament

Finished a Christmas ornament before February ends...I didn't joined any SAL this year as i am afraid i couldn't follow through as usually summwr time here is crazy busy..but i am going to try for myself to finish an ornament each month. 

This a Lizzie Kate design featured at Just Cross Stitch Christmas ornaments, issue 2004. Original design stitch on red fabric but i don't have red's so i used a natural linen.

With all the lovely snowdrops appearing everywhere finished this one into a little cushion.

Valentine's finishes

These little cuties was such a fun stitched and all the receiver loves.

This one still on it's way to Canada as i haven't heard that it has arrive. I posted it beginning of February, i do hope it wasn't lost.

It was my plan to stitch more recently but had another sad that had happened. Two days after our day out with friends to a musical, one took her own life..severe depression. Her funeral was on Valentines day, so sad..

These afternoon, drove around the island and such a beauty in some areas..masses of these dainty flowers here and there. ❤️❤️

Two ornaments done..

...for this month January. My plan to do atleast one ornament a month so hope i can keep up.

I love this kind of finishes with beads around, not really difficult but do needs much time.

This as well my first post since a long while...

T'was a very busy summer at work as well as other things last year that i haven't pick up stitching for a long ling time.

Then beginning of November my father died, so i went home to Asia and glad i could stay for nearly 2 months without thinking of work. Had enough overtime hours plus vacation days so was happy to stay with my family for quite sometime.

Back here in Europe just after christmas, back to reality..work and everything. 

Oh well, hope everyone's having a happy weekend.

Blooming orchids

My lovely blooming orchids, my comfort for my fuzzy COVID brain. They are into their second/third blooming. Now, i can really enjoy them as i am force to stay home for a few days otherwise i am more at work or elsewhere.

Blue skies & Sunbeams

Finally took some time today to finished off   these smalls into pinkeeps. These were the only stitching i picked up on and off these last weeks. It does took me a while to decide which finishing i am going to do.. Well, Love how they turned up.

Used one kind of color linen fabric and used DMC threads.

Also one color fabric for the back.

Temporary display for the picture as i want make a quick update here on my blog.  I'll mix it with a few of my summer smalls later. 

Been away last weekend and taken the last ferry to get back on the island. Upon coming home i raced to the backyard and what a beautiful sunset, a few minutes after 10pm.
