Quilt Blocks

An update with my quilt blocks. I am not making much progress with this as i wanted or expected but at least i have all the blocks done that i needed, though i have to make a small change in one of the blocks to keep all the outside or edges at the same colour.

Here's all the blocks together! Will find the fabric for the blocks in between and then will start sewing them all together.

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments with the Winnie the Pooh, and the best wishes over my foot. It was still painful at work last weekend but i had to force it and glad it is nearly over now.

Update on quilt blocks

There's not much progress to share with my quilting. Here's a couple of pictures that i've managed to do the last days. I'm just too busy with other things to really concentrate on these. Anyway, i think i'll just need a couple more blocks then i am done and can be all piece up together.

Thanks so much for dropping by and leaving comments lately. They are very much appreciated.
As for the Winnie the Pooh design, i know Raymon(will be three next month) wouldn't mind if it will be late but it's to the parents i had promised to be done before his b-day so they can frame it.

Update on my Sampler quilt

After finishing a couple of stitching items for exchanges, which was already sent but not yet receive so can't show any picture yet, i've been working on my quilting blocks. Here are all the blocks together that i've completed so far, my aim is to finish 15 or 16 blocks before putting them all together.

DH will celebrate his birthday on saturday, his b-day is the 9th of April but i have to work that day and most can't come during weekdays.
Will be busy starting tomorrow for all the preparations!! SO, no stitching for me!!!

I finally took a picture of my first finish of the quilt from our two sessions starting this course. There's a name for this but can't remember it now.

Our third session this week was a log cabin, here's what i've done so far. Will have to finish all the squares before our next meet up after four weeks. As she'll be, the one who is giving the lessons flying to houston next week for quilt exhibitions or something and staying there for nearly two weeks.

I'm nearly done with the ornaments i've started a few days ago and ready to be send out next week. Can't show a pic yet till it's received, also a scissor fob that i've completed lately.
I'm afraid i won't have much stitching time this week as the children's home for autumn break. Have to work these coming days, monday and tuesday and wednesday will be going to the mainland to visit friends and we are thinking perhaps before the weekend we are going to a children's park but it depends on DH's schedule and if he's knee doesn't feel very painful for driving as it's quite far from here.

January & February ornaments
