Christmas ornaments finishes

Been so busy here at work.. lots of tourist here now on the island as it's not yet open to go to other countries and lots rather not get out of the country but still wants to go out and about...here on the island they can go to the beach, for biking or walking.

Well, i can only stitch on small projects on and off as it is easily to pick up.
Manage to finish these ornaments recently..
Besides work, stitching.. love preparing meals too especially for my love ones..even if it was unexpected, decided the evening before that they are coming for lunch. I did manage in a couple of hours to prepare a few snack bites with tomato soup filled with meatballs and veggies.

The next day one of our neighbour came joined us for dinner..i've prepared different snack bites as starters followedd by Asian dishes for the main course. It was a fun evening and a good catch up.
This my first time to post through my phone so i hope it comes out fine. Hope to hear from anyone who stop by😊...

Homespun Elegance ornament

Another ornament finish..that was beginning of July and now nearly end of the month again. Days passes by so quickly..Kind of busy at work so working long days, not much energy left picking up stitching at the end of the day.

My flowers outside are looking beautiful but don't have much time to sit and enjoy as recently everytime i am off is the weather not that good, rainy and windy. Well, the rain does good for the flowers that is why they are looking great.
Noticed one of my blooming orchids. I have this one now for 3 years and when it blooms is pure joy, LOVE it! These are my collections in the kitchen. Have more in the living room and most are blooming too.
Last Saturday, after a long day at work still lovely weather so been to where my kids are working, summer jobs..for drinks but ended up having dinner too. I love that place cause of the view of the harbour and the sea.
Yesterday's pic, just done working and finally have a rest and cool off. Looking forward for a few days off. We are off to the mainland visiting family, hope the weather stays good.
Happy Monday!
Thanks to all who takes the time to leave me a comment. I really appreciate it.

These are a few small motives i am working on in between other projects..

A while back, i started these two..
And most after work having time meeting and catching up with friends over lunch/dinner since it has opened up here recently.
Hope everyone having a good start of the week. Thanks to all who takes the time to leave me a comment. I really appreciate it.

Pots of colour!

Having a happy dance here..just finished this stunning design! Such a gloomy day here today, was actually not my plan to stay indoor but been really rainy i am not in the mood to go out...a pity as it has been so sunny lovely days last week during my work days and i was looking forward for my off day to go to the beach especially today being the longest day of the year, 21st of June...well, so glad i am done with one of my biggest piece on my list.

Stitched and finished a wedding card for an ex colleauge who got married early last week.

A get-together with my kids and bf kids with their partners last weekend. As everyone working and living here and there, also far out in the mainland , we had to make a schedule ahead of time.

Happy everyone came and had a lovely catch up over a bbq and drinks. We were still outside when it suddenly started raining and thunderstorm, was about after midnight so atleast we were done with the foods.

A pictures of my blooming flowers in pots which i had taken earlier last week.

Hope everyone having a good start of the week. Thanks to all who takes the time to leave me a comment. I really appreciate it.

Chalk it up!

Finally a finish! Chalk it up!!  Designed by Lucie Heaton and was featured at The World of Cross Stitching magazine, issued February 2021. My very first stitching on black. I can say it was quite challenging working on black and think i am not going to use this kind of colour though it looks great if i say so myself...this finish piece!

Weather's been summery these days and restrictions open up a bit like eating in and out doors are allowed, Lots are coming to the island for vacation or to unwind... we then decided to get out of the island last weekend.
The room we stayed looking unto the harbour, i just love it. I think and hope to go back there again next time as i love the place sorrounding it too...
....catching up with one of my colleagues over a drinks and a bites.
And lunch out with my daughter. I am out of insperations to prepare for foodies lately.
Hope everyone's having a lovely weekend.

Last week of May...

...has been so busy with this and that...                                                                                                      First, i am glad my cards and small ornament was received on time for  friends birthdays and so fort..

This still remain until now...i do wanted to finish it off for Spring but haven't manage it.
Family quality time weekend...well, had to quickly improvise these foodies after a long day at work.
End of May, bf birthday..had to work and due to the restrictions of no big groups indoor we opted out for a drink and dinner out at one of our favorite restaurant at the harbour.

bewellandstitch...

Last year i had completed 8 of the complimentary charts that was graciously offered by different designers for #bewellandstitch.  Here's #09..i had stitched beginning of this year and finally finish into a pinkeep.

Here's all of the pieces i finished from different designers.
Had made a bit of progress on Chalk ip up Sampler, this is my first stitching on black fabric..i do like how it is turning out but it is not really my favorite colour to stitch. I find it a bit difficult to work on it
Before and into the weekend we had family/friend for dinner came and stay..luckily i got a week off from work, though i had actually other plans but having family and spoiling them with my cooking was also fine as we don't see them otfen.
Was able to go out for a walk once and so lovely to see lots of Daffodils everywhere, along the roads, in the farmlands, bushes..this picture below took it during my walk at the small forest here, when i noticed there were different kinds.
Hope everyone's having a lovely week!
Many thanks for stopping by and the lovely comments.
