SBEBB Pumpkin Patch rec. from Brigitte

I still haven't heard from Laurie, the winner of my bloggerversary despite my last call last week so now i decided to use the Random Sequence Generator and the winner is Julie.
[[[Julie said...
Congrats Mylene on blogging for 3 years.
I would love to be entered in your draw please, thank you for your kindness.]]]
***Julie, could you email me your info and choice or preference (pinkeep, flatfold, mattress pincushion, biscornu or a floss ring tag).

Received a wonderful package from Brigitte. It was such a great surprise and you have finished this design beautifully.

Thank you so much as well as all these lovely goodies enclosed. I just LOVE them all.

Finished the backstitching of this and just the verse to do now.

Another update of this and i am happy it's getting near to it's end.

SBEBB Pumpkin Patch

I've just heard that Jean received the exchange i've sent to her. WOW! It seems going to Singapore travels faster than going to the U.S.A. Since i am still waiting for a couple of packages that was sent to there long before i've sent this parcel to Asia. So glad to hear you like it, Jean.

Looking back from some of my pictures last month and seen this card that i've made for Grace birthday. She's the one who is crazy of chocolates! Atleast she's quite active like going to school with the bike everyday, plus she's in the Swimming club and Street Dance.

Took these pictures too a couple of weeks ago at our backyard. I had noticed i had lots of pink colours around. Glad there's not much damage after the bad weather the last days, just a pity we can't sit outside anymore to enjoy it.
Infact i've cleaned the table and chairs and packed up inside yesterday.

Thank you al so much for stopping by and all the lovely comments, also to all who offers help regarding the threads and ideas regarding the finishing. I really appreciate them all. Will try to send notes back later this week. Still haven't finish the pieces, don't know yet actually...

oh before i forget, i am still waiting to hear from the 1st prize winner for my bloggerversary which was: Laurie G P in NE. If i will not here from you till sunday, i think i have to pick another winner.

I'm really spoiled!!

Look what i received yesterday!! It's from Stephanie, i'm her partner for the SBEBB Garden Exchange back in May. A coincidence that she stitched and finish a LHN design exactly the same as one i received late last year from another exchange. She feels bad about it and said to make another one. I did send a message back that i did feel guilty then mentioning about it and not to worry, no need to make a replacement. But oh my oh my, she've
been busy stitching for a replacement and here it is. Isn't it beautiful! She stitched and finished it beautifully and it's definitely an original!! I LOVE it!!
Thank you so much, Stephanie!!!

Finally finished Winter of the Season's SAL. I am not sure yet how to finished this one and i have to finish off the Autumn one too. Probably into a flatfold same as i've finished the Summer one into.

Biscornu exchange, WIP, Sail...

Receive a note from Joan that she received the biscornu yesterday that i made for the exchange on SBEBB. This one is a freebie but can't remember where from. I do really hope Joan likes it. I did enjoyed stitching this with WDW Sky and finishing it with beads around. Well, that is one received from the

three packages i sent the same day exactly a week ago today. Still waiting from Norway and another from the U.S.

I've just received this wonderful exchange from Linda today! Great stitching and finishing Linda. I just LOVE it and all the extra's enclosed, especially as i can't buy these kind of fabrics and colored ring tags over here.

So far, here's my update on Winter SAL.

I haven't done much stitching since my last post last week. I see it's nearly a week already. It's just that before the weekend i had headaches for a few nights so i am not in the mood for stitching. Weekend came, we had Max for company and been to birthday party's too.

DH is away for work for a while now, so these previous evenings i had to picked up the kids at MIL's. It's really different being alone with the kids, as i am used to having him around though his working home but atleast he's home for the children.

Last saturday afternoon we took Max at the dyke for a walk at around 2PM, i didn't expect a lot of people are already around as i know the SAIL PARADE in Den Helder will start at 3pm to 5pm. Max was too curious at the people around and not everyone is happy to have a dog so very near so we decided to take back Max home right away and wait till the parade's over.

You can have a read and see some more pictures here about the Sail, Sail-spektakel in Den Helder (this one in Dutch)
The Tall Ships' Races 2008 (and this one in English)

Thanks so much everyone for stopping by and all the lovely comments about the fob. I really appreciate them all.

Cross Stitch Crazy Mag., ABC exchange,...

First of all, thanks so much for all the nice comments over my first model. Honestly, with stitching 3 threads over 28ct. evenweave plus lots of the backstitching too, put me off to sign up anymore.

Received my copy of Cross Stitch Carzy Magazine this week and only has the time to have a look today and what a surprise
to see picture of the pinkeeps i've made earlier this year. Sent it through e-mail a while back but never received a response so i thought it just got lost in cyberspace. I did mentioned pinkeeps but it was written here on the magazine pincushions.

Just read that Chris received my package for the SBEBB ABC exchange. I've stitched her this freebie of Anne Les Petites Croix
and finished it off into a pinkeep. Do hope Chris likes it and and all the extra's enclosed(no picture here)

Been working on a couple of exchanges, LHN exchange and ILCS small finished exchange. I understemated the finishing time especially for the ILCS, it took me longer than i had expected. Will finish it off tomorrow.
Since i've seen this Season SAL of Helga Mandl Designs i am in love with it. Didn't stitch the Spring block yet but i started with this summer block. I prefer to stitch them separately but not sure yet how to finish them off.

SBEBB Garden Theme Exchange

Garden Pleasure Pinkeep
Little House Needleworks Design
32 ct. linnen, DMC floss

I just heard that Jill received my SBEBB Garden Theme Exchange for her yesterday. So glad to hear she likes it and all the extra's enclosed.

Nothing to share of other stitching as i haven't touch a needle since Sunday. And had worked the last couple of days, which was really busy. It's not surprising actually as it's 2 weeks school vacation here and weather seems good so lots are coming or are already here on the island for a break!

I see, it's now bright and sunny outside while an hour ago it has been raining while we're out with the kids.
Hope to do some stitching tonight as i need to start either for the Freebie Design Exchange or the ABC exchange, or a few cards....
Many many thanks for visiting and all the lovely comments. I really appreciate them all.

Spring House and Garden Exchange

Surprise surprise!!!!! What a wonderful coincidence that we are partners with the Spring House and Garden Exchange, Carol!! You have received it first, you're probably thinking....ohhh!!! When the mailman handed me the box this afternoon and saw your name it made me smile and upon opening the package that confirms my suspicion.

I just LOVE the box you have made,Carol. Your stitching and finishing is very neatly done! All the extra goodies are really great. You sure have spoiled me. Thank you so much!!

And here's a picture of the Spring House and Garden i've made and sent to Carol. So glad to hear you like it as well as the extra's. Haven't taken a picture of the whole package but Carol have a good picture at her blog.

Here's the back of the piece. I do love it myself when it was finally done, i can say it was a bit difficult to part with it, but i feel better when Carol says she likes it.

Shay, the Country French Needleroll of M Designs are available here: ,Stitches 'N Things and Eileen Gurak is new to me too, here's her website
Handblessings, there are quite some nice ones there i would like to add to my collection.

Thanks so much to all who stopped by and especially leaving comments. They are so much appreciated.

The children have now two weeks vacation so stitching will not be much as well as being online.

Have a wonderful weekend to all!
