...mojo's back with a giveaway!

Oh yes!! Stitching mojo is back especially when i've seen this ongoing SAL through Shari's blog earlier this week. Isn't it a cutie!! So, i thought of making one into a pincushion and offer it as a giveaway to all of you my loyal followers. I am so grateful of all your visits and leaving me comments, really appreciate them all and it does help me to get on here....

About the mortgage is still not finalize..unbelievable!! But we are glad the insurance co. who is proccessing the papers had almost covered all the cost we had, atleast he has trust in us.
So, as you can see it is a bit empty....The walls are all white, nothing hang yet..it seems i prefer it this way...i am not sure if i will hang any stithcing, maybe if we have more furnitures later. We would like some new ones but have to wait....

The added room is full of boxes yet...have to wait if we can build a new barn besides the garage, also need a big cabinet in the kitchen...


...bought some tulips almost every week, from one along the road going to town-it is cheaper, but this is not for long!

Some more pics from my visit home. My parents had given us a small space so we decided to build a simple house, which is on top of a hill! I miss the place and my family & friends. If only we can afford to go home every now and then.....




One of my Sis-in-law have lots of flowers! Don't know how she does it as she works six days a week. I think i'll ask her to bring some in our house...



I hope everyone's having a good week. Atleast here is dry after days of fog and rain...hope the sun appears soon, still windy though so it feels so cold outside!

Easter pinkeeps finishes

Been working on the finishing for these two last night. It did took me so long as i don't know what is the best way to finish it off and i was really running out of time. The stitching was finished a while back but just can't get the right idea fow to complete them off until last night. When i thought i have to be done with it.

simple flatfold

This is one of my finishes last January, designed by Helga mandl and now finally finished it into a flatfold a couple of days ago. That's the fabric i used for the backing and do love how it turned out.






It's been pretty busy here lately, yesterday i've been at MIL's place for the day till evening helping out for her 77th birthday. Came home last night with a headache so i went to bed quite early. As i had to get out early this morning dropping Chris to one of his friends who took them to their football match at 10am, while i had to help out at the canteen for the football club from 9am to 1pm.
Chris team had won the match and it's the first time he did manage to hit one goal so he was very proud. Now, i've missed to watch that game.
It was dark and had rained as well so it was quite busy for us at the canteen serving coffee, thee, hot chocolate and other drinks, i was really tired when i got home and had to lie down for an hour before heading to a birthday party this afternoon. Came home at around 7 and went to picked Chris at once. We finally made home around 9pm. i think it will be an early night for me again tonight. Not in the mood for stitching at all!!!

Computer is fixed!

My computer has had a very bad virus, DH tried to remove it last weekend when he came home, spent a few hours but he couldn't remove it. He has took it out this morning from my table...i thought here we go, it might really take a while before it gets back but when i got home this aftrenoon from helping at Chris school, my PC is back at my table. Thanks to DH i can get online again. I really did missed it! Also for uploading the pictures taken since Christmas. I can see now i haven't taken much pictures....

As for stitching, i do have a few finishes lately, small ones but can't show all as most were for gifts and exchanges. Also started a few projects but not much to show pictures off. Had spent sometime reorganizing some freebies too that i've printed last year and which ones that i will do stitch and some have to throw. Next (when dh is off which will be next month) will be some magazines, as i've subscribed to a couple of the U.K Cross stitch magazine for a few years now. I have only one now going, had to stopped the others much as i like them as i am not working anymore... not much income for hobbies.

I am back online & Spring pictures!!

Thanks to my dh for fixing my computer and i am so glad most were intact. At first, when he was working on it he thought all were gone including the pictures. I do still have some problems with logging to a few groups and i am not even sure if this post will come out as i got a few errors earlier when i log in to my blog. Really hope these will come through.

Honestly, i haven't done much stitching lately. I thought without the pc i have more time to stitch but it seems i lost my inspirations to do so. Atleast i've completed these into pinkeeps and cards, they were stitched before my pc crashed.

We had company last week too. Max stayed with us for a long weekend as the owner went skiing. We are getting use to his company we really do miss him when he's taken home.




Weather has been great the last days. Been for a walk almost everyday and did took my camera one time and taken a few pictures of the lambs. Since the weather's fine most were outside already.
