...more red finishes into scissor pinkeep/pocket!

Found these unfinished piece with all the needed materials in one of the folder that was put aside a long way back which i remember i've so much love the one i've sent off for an exchange nearly a couple of years ago and so wanted one for my collection. Just took the picture with the light on and looks like not the real color red that was on the fabric. Can't wait for tomorrow's daylight as i have to work and busy days ahead of us, won't have the time to post on here. It was cold but beautifully bright and sunny the last couple of days. Perfect for a walk, yesterday with a friend along the dyke.... ...and today with another friend at another location closeby our house. Went shopping with friends last week at the mainland and stop by for a cup of coffee with a huge rice tart for each...Funny, everyone say's not to eat it all, thinking of all the calories but been busy chatting before we know it all was eaten up! Many many thanks for your continued visits and for taking the time to leave me a comment. I truly appreciate them all.

Abc ornament exchange...

For the ABC exchange, i've made it into a pinkeep/scissor pocket. It's a freebie design which was printed a long time ago, can't remember anymore who the designer of it. Exactly a week ago today, i dropped my Iphone and came face down on the hard tile floor. From the sound ot it at that moment, was really bad...i thought if i will picked it up all tiny glasses will spread around...I was so glad it didn't and still work though difficult to type words as couldn't see the letters clearly. Last Saturday, we were at the mainland and there's a shop that do repairs for this kind of damages on phone, a bit expensive(70.00 euro's)...now, it looks new....
Friends were planning to go to the mainland for shopping, 7 in all...and fits exactly on our car, will be cheaper than to take the train but i was hesitant as it is my first time to drive to the place they want to go...more than an hour drive... i have the "Tom tom" so why not...so off we go...as you can see on the picture, Chris the only boy and he did enjoyed the attention!
Quality time with friends!!

LHN- "Nature's Beauty"

I've finished this one a while back but haven't posted it here at once as i was working on the two motifs taken from this design. It took me longer than i had expected as i have to complete a couple of exchanges in between.
Thought to take the motif from this design for the monthly challenge and do love how it turned out oh except the pins, i really don't have much choice with what i have so this will do for the meantime. Also taken another motif for the floss ring.

Nature's Beauty- 32ct minster linen, DMC

Scissor pocket- 36ct linen, DMC

Floss ring tag- 28ct linen, DMC

This is my first with this type of finishing and i am happy with how it turned out, i was hesitant to try as it looks so difficult to make when i've seen a few pictures on other's blog. I think if it weren't for the monthly challenge i still haven't tried it.
The floss ring tag is just an extra as i love the flower motif too.
Sorry for the pictures though as they are not that great.

Here's a couple of pictures taken last sunday during our walk with Max at the dyke. You can see one of the tourist vessel at the background and other private yachts. Quite nice weather then compare to
today's weather and the coming days where they predicted some rains.

Many thanks for stopping by and all the nice comments. I really appreciate them all.

HoE LHN exchange

I just read that Shelly P
received the package i sent to her for the exchange. I stitched 'Night & Day' and finished it into a scissor pocket pinkeep. I really hope she likes it.

Most of the items i sent previously for exchanges i do like it too and quite difficult to send it away and i always thought to stitched one for myslef one day. Well, when i started this design(night & day) i really want one for myself too so i completed both at the same time and made both exactly the same finishing too. Except the the pins...i really ran out of pins and i am looking if i can order some here locally but haven't found any yet!

Received Becky K.
packaged today. She stitched Woodland Snowfall and made it into an ornament. Thanks so much for this wonderful ornament and all these lovely goodies enclosed.

We have company again since thursday. Max will stay until monday when the owner returns from his trip to Portugal. I always forgot to take the camera with me when i take him for a walk so i took this one while he is resting at the kitchen.

The weather started fine this morning so we decided to go to the beach, the first time for me to drive going there. When we got there after 1pm it was still fine but after a couple of hours, it got cloudy and started raining so we had to packed and go home. It was predicted that we will get some rain but not that early, should be end of the day!

Thanks so much for stopping by and all the lovely comments. I really appreciate them all.
