Scissor fob & a wedding card

My second exchange for this year on one of the yahoo group. It's a freebie at Plum Pudding Needleart designs. Love this little autumn one, was a bit difficult to send out, hope the receiver likes it.

Here's what i received from Lynda in return. Cute and i love it!!

A couple of days before the wedding of one of the neighbors i was wondering either to buy a card or spend a whole evening stitching, chosen the last and glad i did made it on time.

Not much stitching done this week, been working and socializing mostly after works. Last tuesday evening with colleagues at work(no pics), with a live band so had been drinking and dancing lots till after 2am. The next day, my whole body was achy especially my hips. We sure had fun!
Had met-up with the guys working at the fishing boat yesterday evening, they are usually at the harbour near my work during weekend. All four guys came from the Philippines too though very far from where i came from. Drinking and eating lots lately, way toooo bad for my DIET!!!

Thank you all so much for stopping by and all the kind comments. I really appreciate them all.
Hope you all have are having a happy weekend!

Definitely stitching...

...instead of reading the books i've posted earlier. They aren't books i would recommend. I started the first serie but couldn't get further than chapter 4. Lots of repetitive text, boring,no depth...not just my style. Glad i was able to take a few books from the library this afternoon, Cathy Kelly is one of my favorite, the other two are new to me.

So i've stitched a couple of designs from the JCS 2012, i don't know yet how to finish them off. Hope to stitch a few more from the mag soon.

I hope everyone have a good start of the week. Thank you all so much for your continued visits on my blog especially to those who takes the time to leave me a comment. I truly appreciate them all.

Stitching mojo is getting back!!

A biscornu finish by Olenka's stitches designs. Love it! The second time i had this one stitched. First one, was for a giveaway last a couple of years ago.

Found a few of my Autumn collections, think i have more but couldn't find where i'd put them away during the renovation a couple of years ago.

Finally completed this CCN design. Not sure yet how to finish it off. Thought of framing it or maybe into a pillow.
I heard from a colleague about these books, but i had planned to buy them in dutch version but the shop we went too yesterday, they don't have it complete in Dutch but only in English, honestly i prefer to read books in English but it affects my dutch daily so that is why i do have to read books alternately. Today, my JCS 2012 came in....now what to do first, STITCH or READ???!

I hope everyone having a good week. Thank you all so much for your continued visits on my blog especially to those who takes the time to leave me a comment. I truly appreciate them all.

Here is a picture of what i had received of the very fisrt exchange i joined in this year. Was a winter/christmas in July exchange. I ve received this gorgeous one from Denise(sorry with all the changes on blogger, i haven t found out yet how to insert a bloglink). The piece i sent back, i couldn t find the picture i had taken from my Iphone anymore, i think it was deleted before it was uploaded on the pc.

I  am trying to upload a video of Chris band and had deleted the whole update a couple of times. Now, i was about to give up when it seems it does now appear...i do wonder if you can view it. Hope someone will leave a comment soon.

A bit of an update...

Hello everyone,
What have happened to blogger, nearly an hour that i am trying to write and rearrange pics...i am lost here...wonder how this post comes out when i post it...
Way too long that i've updated my blog again, even if i had thought of keeping up with it, there's always things that kept on the way like work especially...
Anyway, here's a couple of finishes recently, the LHN design, i hope to finish it off into a flatfold soon.

Been to a friend's wedding last month and quite an honour to be one of their witnesses.

One of the summer festival which was last weekend at the beach,
me and my SIL attended one of the activities which was ZUMBA.
It's the second year that we've joined in and the same instructor from Amsterdam.

...and this was taken the other day when hubby got home. Quite a surprise as we've expected him yesterday. He appeared at my work monday afternoon and was to busy..kids were home and suggested we go out for dinner when i am done with work so was sure fun always to dine out with the kids and that time one of Grace friend joined us.

I really wonder how this post comes out as i am trying to change  the  formation but couldn't get the right one that i like.
Hope everyone's having a good week!
