Hardanger piece!

Hardanger is quite easy in between breaks, compare to cross stitch with all the different colours and the signs although depends on design picked up to work with in cross stitching. Been a while since i worked on hardanger, i was quite nervous doing the cutting, so glad it is a small piece. Been from one activity to another mainly for the kids, for school and out of school. Thought it will be a bit relaxing month but since hubby is away at sea again i am alone to be....everywhere for the kids! Aside from my own work, how about house chores...ohhh and the garden, totally neglected. Bought some flowers to be planted a couple of weeks ago and still they aren't planted. shame...shame!!
Thank you all so much for your continued visits on my blog especially to those who takes the time to leave me a comment. I truly appreciate them all.

I know how you feel Mylene, i feel as though i'm always rushing to do something or other.

Lovely hardanger piece, it looks really difficult, I'd be afraid of cutting the fabric!

Hope you have a good weekend :-0

The hardanger you worked on looks beautiful. Not sure if I would have the patience for it. Would like to try someday though.

The doily is beautiful. I am too much of a coward to try hardanger but I love looking at what others do.

Your hardanger doiley looks really lovely - very nicely finished. I am hooked on those little x's at the moment, but might be convinced to try hardanger again one day.
Don't worry about those seedlings, I have found they flower quite well in the punnets (so long as you keep watering them - hahaha)

That is how I felt too everytime cutting the threads on a hardanger. It normally takes me some extra days to ponder before I embark on the cutting...LOL Yours looking great btw.

Thanks for sharing the pics of the game. By looking I can feel the excitement of the day!

Wow, a great Harsanger piece. I have never made one although I love the look of it. But with my spare time being a bit limited I don't want to start something new. Maybe after retirement ...

I wish you lots of strength for being everywhere at the same time :)

Lovely hardanger Mylene. I only started doing it a couple of years ago and I love how fast it works up, a lovely change from normal stitching.

Love the Hardanger Mylene, I enjoy hardanger also. It makes a great carry along as you don't have all the different colors to deal with.
