Definitely stitching...

...instead of reading the books i've posted earlier. They aren't books i would recommend. I started the first serie but couldn't get further than chapter 4. Lots of repetitive text, boring,no depth...not just my style. Glad i was able to take a few books from the library this afternoon, Cathy Kelly is one of my favorite, the other two are new to me.

So i've stitched a couple of designs from the JCS 2012, i don't know yet how to finish them off. Hope to stitch a few more from the mag soon.

I hope everyone have a good start of the week. Thank you all so much for your continued visits on my blog especially to those who takes the time to leave me a comment. I truly appreciate them all.

Congrats on your finishes. Nothing worse than not being able to get into a book. Your new books look good.

Great stitching, and quick too, the magazine hasn't been out very long.
I lost patience with those 50 shades books as well, they just aren't very well written in my opinion

How disappointing that you didn't like the books after you bought them. I've heard about them here and they didn't appeal to me.

Glad to see you are loving your stitching again and found some great books at the library.

I love the two ornaments you have stitched from this years ornament mag. They are two that I want to stitch to go on my tree this Christmas :)

You are so fast! Love the ornis :)

I feel certain the new books will be MUCH better than the others. I haven't read them (and don't plan to) I like mysteries, myself!

Lovely stitchings and how great you have access to this great magazine. Here it is impossible to find and I always admire the designs people are stitching from it.

I should also get back to my stitching, lately I was doing crocheting mainly.

Hugs, Edit

Such pretty ornaments, Mylene! Those were two of my favorites from this years Ornament Issue... Glad you've found a few books to hold your attention. That is the nice thing about the library--you never run out of possible good reads!

I've stitched a couple of ornaments from the 2012 issue myself so far... its a good one this year!

I agree with you on the last books you tried to read. I made my way through them to the end but really not great writing.

Meanwhile I have received my copy of the JCS issue as well and I have discovered a couple of ornaments that I really adore. But you have already stitched some - great! I'm very curious to see how you will finish them.
