Start with a finish...

Actually completed a while back but the piece had been hidden in between the other designs piled up in a drawer...yeah, my stitching items aren't organize for sometime now. Do really need to work on it but waiting for a longer off days at work and all the activities here of the kids. Grace finals exam ended today! Results will be announce the third week of June. So it'll be a while before they know/hear if they go to university or stay for another year.

With the spill of the wine...luckily, i manage to remove...almost, a very light one can be noticed when you know which side otherwise can't really recognize it. So i work on it a bit...Now, i received a few books i've ordered last week and i think will be spending time reading instead of stitching for a few nights or especially after work.

Just want to share a picture of my blooming orchids! The dark one on the left, been blooming for nearly two years now. See the leaves, looks healthy and green!
Thank you all so much for visiting and taking the time to leave me a comment. I really appreciate it. Hope everyone have a good start of the week.

Such a great finish. Good to hear that you could remove the wine stain from the fabric.
Reading or stitching - that's always the question here, too. Whatever you choose, enjoy it.

I am so envious of your blooming orchids. I can't seem to keep them alive after the first blooms. :(

Your stitching is adorable. Enjoy those books.

So little time it's the bane of all Stitchers. I would much rather stitch than tidy. Love the finish and what a lovely orchid b

Your LHN finish is beautiful, I love that designer.

Sorry about the wine spill. I am always drinking coffee and fear dumping a cup all over my needlework...thankfully, this has not happened yet.

Love your gorgeous orchids~

Love the verse. Is such a nice design, the colors are wonderful.

Seems yoyu will have fun reading those books. I recently got Life of Pi on my Kindle, but haven't start it yet.

Beautiful orchids. Mine haven't bloom for a few seasons, the only one that did was the tiny green one. I've been thinking of changing their pots and substrate to help them bloom again.
