It's official i am...

...the shortest in the family! Just realised it when i saw this picture taken last weekend with me and our youngest son, Chris! He is 13 thus he can get taller...

Looks like our saturday's are booked for party's, had to take special off days and worked during sundays for the time being. This picture below was last saturday at one of our friends at the mainland.
Quite some friends are celebrating their birthdays lately...this coming saturday will be two celebrations. Glad, both are here on the island!

This ornament was for the Friendship exchange i joined in at HOE. The Lizzie Kate pinkeep i made and send to Sandra who lives in Barbados.

Here's what i received back from Marie. Such a cutie and so neatly finished. Love it!!

Thank you all so much for visiting and taking the time to leave me a comment. I really appreciate it. Hope everyone have a good start of the week.

Hello Mylene,

Had to smile at your post title and seeing your photo to prove it. You will always be Mum, no matter how tall they get.
Lovely stitched exchanges.

Happy days.
Bev.

Nice photos - I am just about taller than my eleven year old, though my ten year old daughter is quite short for her age, so not sure when/if she will overtake me!

From your other photos, I always thought you were really tall! Must feel a little strange to have your baby grow taller than you.

Beautiful stitching as always. And a lovey gift from Marie.

I smiled at your picture of you and chris, it does not seem long since he was just a tot, have we been friends that long lol?
I know the feeling too as my grandson aged 11 is now taller than me. Oh how time flies.

It's quite frightening how quickly they grow. I swear I'm shrinking!

My mom is the shortest, too. 4'10" I still remember when my youngest brother grew taller than her. :)

Nice stitching. Both sent and received.
