Oh yes, i did have a few starts in cross stitching and hopefully will finish them eventually. Kind of slow with stitching as i don't have much inspirations at all.
A happy week to all.
Welcome!.... this is where i can share my hobbies, mainly stitching at the moment. And also just about anything....my family, my friends...
Oh yes, i did have a few starts in cross stitching and hopefully will finish them eventually. Kind of slow with stitching as i don't have much inspirations at all.
A happy week to all.
It is nearly two weeks now since the accident with my ankle, happy to say it is healing nicely though slowly. I started walking again since yesterday albeit on my own speed, relatively slow. Instead of walking the distance which i normally take for 45 minutes, it took me an hour and half yesterday and today did improved a bit. Picture below was taken today along the way...been windy, drops of rain a couple of times but glad the sun continues to shine during my walk.
Thanks so much for all the well wishes. Hope you all are having a good start of the week.
A pic of my ankle taken a few days ago. Getting better but slowly...i will start work tomorrow so i hope i can manage it.
A few pics taken lately...Since Grace is at University, and has work during weekends at the city...she seldoms come to the island.

Hope everyone's having a good week. Many thanks to all who stopped by and all the lovely comments.
...as well as some fruits like one of these, Jackfruits. Quite a few around one of my brother's place but none was ripe during my visit.
And these corn were already dried up so wasn't able to taste fresh boiled ones.
Always nice catching up with highschool friends, i do feel lucky they had made time for a meet-up as it was unexpected.
Was able to watch part of an event during our visit in the city, a yearly Festival which held during the month of February called "Panagbenga"..'Blooming Flower Festivals'! The festival includes floats that are covered mostly with flowers and also street dancing, presented by dancers clad in flower-inspired costumes.
Nothing to show stitching wise...i did stitched but not much to show, hopefully on my next update.
Hope everyone's have a good start of the week.
Never known this area about 20minutes drive from our home, glad i joined my sister and brother-in-law when they said they are going to pick some papaya's. Since the road going to there were quite rough it's not easy for anyone to go and take those fruits for sale so lots are just falling off the ground.
Took some pictures of my mothers flowers sorrounding the house. It sure a task to tend to them almost everyday especially as it was quite dry when i was home, some doesn't survive comes summer too.
Everytime i'm home do try to have get-together with some high school friends..those who can, and had always such fun catching up on news and everything.
These fruits, "Guyabano's" & "Star apple" haven't tasted them for nearly 30years, not really in season everytime i was home before. and still a lot are and can't even remember names of fruits we had during our childhood days.
More pics next time...but NO stitching as i haven't touch a needle since i left here till now. Not in the mood at all.
Hope everyone's having a good weekend!
...and a few pics of last weeks outings and gatherings with friends.
Thanks so much for stopping by and the lovely comments.
Be staying home for three and be back the beginning of March...will catch up then...
