pinkeep, LHN wip's & a lovely RAK!

"Enjoy the summer" pinkeep
Romy's Cross stitch pattern
32ct. linen
DMC threads

Think i am late with this one as it looks like our summer is over..a long time over actually. We haven't had much of a summer this year, on and off rain and strong winds which is really a pity for all the tourist who had booked their vacation to here on the island. They expected to go to the beach, or go cycling otherwise there's not much here especially for young children. NO amusement parks!!
Love this simple design so i stitched one for myself after sending the first one to Shari. It's a freebie at Romy's blog for anyone who likes the design.

Here's an update of the LHN i started earlier this month. I am enjoying stitching this one and don't like to take a break but i have a couple of items i need to start for gifts. It will be a while for the next update...

Last week i've received a lovely RAK all the way from Canada! Suzanne is really spoiling me as this is not the first one. Look at all the lovely goodies! Thank you so much, Suzanne. I know you are still away on vacation but hope you've seen my note earlier.

Thank you all so much for your continued visits on my blog and for taking the time to leave me a comment. They mean so much to me!
I hope you are all having a wonderful week.

What a lovely pinkeep. Our summer won't end - we're headed up into the 90's again after a couple of cooler days, and next-to-no rain this summer, so everything is so dry. If we could have just shared and met halfway!

Perfect pinkeep. And you got some really nice goodies.

We're having a late summer heat wave here. I don't mind at all. I wish it would stay warm all year!

It's nice that you've stitched something to keep for yourself, Mylene! Your little summer pinkeep is darling--thanks for the link to Romy's blog, too.

I hadn't realized how wide the LHN piece was--it's bigger than I thought! I have this one in my stash, too, but if I ever get around to stitching it, I'll probably make the house blue.

Beautiful gifts from Suzanne--that Sweetheart Tree "Welcome" chart is especially lovely :)

For us summer came late but it was hot, too hot. Tourists could not leave their hotels most of the day because of the heat :( We even made it into the news with the high temperature. And now here it is the other end, very cold and rainy :(

I love your little summer finish and yout LHN piece is going to be so so beautiful.

And the package :) I can imagine the happiness when you opened it :)

Here the summer seems to be over as well, it's already very cold in the mornings and not really warm during the day. But I must admit that I prefer this weather to the heat wave we were having back in June and July.
Your summer pinkeep looks so lovely. And wow, a nice new project.
Love the RAK package you've received. Enjoy all your goodies.

That is a really cute summer design. Love how you finished it. Your WIP is looking great. I too am working on a piece for myself. I work on it in the AM. I have pieces that I need to stitch as gifts also & I work on them in the evening. That way I get to do both. The me piece is actually a counted Needlepoint. Your RAK is amazing. Looking forward to seeing those charts stitched up. Thanks for sharing.
