ornament, new WIP's & Tulip fields!

Ornament SAL for March and only completed it recently while we are now into May...stitching is quite slow for me these days, especially now that i finally landed a new part-time job, a couple of days a week for a start...

DMC thread

Started this sampler a couple of days ago, before i went for a job interview...I've been in love with this Sampler Girl for a long time and i am so grateful, Lesleyanne kindly lent me the pattern.

...and saw a new SAL at Carole's after the Easter SAL and wanted to stitch it too, glad we have a few weeks before the next block so i have to start that too...
plus a couple of small birthday gifts this month which i am afraid will reach the celebrants way after their birthday as i haven't completed them yet!!

These pictures were taken a couple of weeks ago, Easter sunday actually when we went for Chris football tournament at the mainland. Saw lots and lots of Tulips fields along the way, North Holland are known for their Tulips fields!!

I really appreciate everyone's comment, thank you all so much. I might be late visiting blogs so please do forgive me. Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Mother's Day weekend too!!

So incredibly beautiful, Mylene. Someday you should visit Texas in the spring and see the fields and miles of highway covered or lined with thousands of blue and white bluebonnets and red Indian Paintbrush, purple wine cups and yellow primrose, orange Greenthread and red and yellow Indian Blanket (gallardia). along with the other native wildflowers we're so proud and take good care of. See photos at: http://www.highlandlakes.com/wildflowers At certain times, it's like driving through a hundred miles of God's gardens. But I'd love to see the tulips! I don't know if you celebrate Mother's Day, but I do hope that you will enjoy our special day with us and I wish you a good one regardless.

Oh Mylene, you have two great new projects on the go. The Jane Austen piece is one of my Challenge projects and it's a fun stitch.
Every year I wait for your pictures of tulip fields as they are so gorgeous.

I love your ornament finish Mylene, this pattern is so kind and you made it into a beautiful ornament. Also your new start is lovely, but those tulip fields!!! If only I could see something like this one day. It is absolutely amazing, even to imagine. We do not have anything like that here.
Wishing you a nice week, Edit
