PS ornaments!!

Finally completed these ornaments! Actually stitched a while back but haven't had the mood for finishing 'till i realized yesterday that it's the end of the month again and i am way behind sending the promised prizes!!

Prairie Schooler Design
..both freebies
32ct linen & 28ct evenweave
DMC threads

The 'Summer' part of Carole's SAL...

...a bit more progress on the Tulip design.

I sure miss my stitching but been pretty tired lately, working long hours these days...so i prefer reading than crafting especially in the evening.

I noticed these flowers a couple of days ago behind our fence, i don't know how they got to grow there as before were small tress we've removed end of last year as we planned to built a barn here one day. I did saw these flowers before but i cannot figure it out how they called. Anyone knows???

Thank you all so much for your continued visits on my blog especially to those who takes the time to leave me a comment. I truly appreciate them all.

We have some very, very similar flowers in our garden called "Bachelor Buttons," Mylene--not sure if they come in a red variety or not (ours are blue).

Your two PS ornaments are darling and I love their beaded edging. Nice progress on the SAL and Tulip, too. Sorry you are working so much--hope you get some stitching time very soon :)

Ooh such pretty snowmen they are!! How did you get the corners like that? Did you add any trimmings?
Great progress on both WIPs. Love the tulips especially :)
Though I don't know what the flowers are, they sure are pretty. Not much help, haha

Great ornaments and WIPs Mylene.

Based on the leaf shape and the flower "buds" I'd bet my money on them being a variety of Poppy. They spread very easily, so a few seeds from a bird or a neighbour's garden or on a shoe and whoila! Poppies!

Lovely PS ornamnets Mylene

Your flowers are poppies and when the flower dies off they drop their seeds onto the ground from inside the flowerheads so self seed ready for next time they grow, sometimes the seeds are carreid on the wind and plant themselves all over the place.

Beautiful stitching as always Mylene. The flowers are a variety of Poppy. I saw a purple one growing wild near us and I was hoping to get some of the seeds but someone pulled the plant up before the seeds were ready.
