Needlerolls!

July, August, September Birthstone & flower samplers
From a booklet of The World of Cross Stitching
(no designers was given)
Stitched on 28ct white evenweave
DMC threads

((you can click on all pictures to enlarge if you want))
Finished the three samplers into a needleroll a few days ago but was quite
busy with the kids acitvities, also DH came home yesterday for the whole afternoon as he needed to do some paperworks regarding his position at work. Atleast we had some time together before he got back to the ship. Just a week more then he'll be home!

It's the last week of Grace school last week and they had a kind of 'project week'. Parents were welcome to go and see what they had done last friday. Here's a picture of Grace(right) with her friends with what they had made out that was assigned to them.

Chris still have this week for school. He really wish it's also over like his sister.
For this week they join the swimming acitivity at the open pool here in town which starts at 6:00pm till 8:30pm where they will do 20 or 40 laps everyday. It's called 'zwem avondvierdaagse', don't know the term in English. Anyway, i am the chauffeur and have to wait, atleast i have enough books now for company. But there are friends there too with there kids so probably won't have time for reading just like this evening.
Here's Grace and her friends, both girls are in the car with us too. That's one of my friend holding up her hand, doesn't want to be on the picture.
Haven't got a good picture of Chris but he's the dark head farther left. and here he is playing with one of his classmates, he said he likes the girl or rather both likes each other. kids...kids...!

Thanks so much for stopping by and all the kind comments. Hope you are all having a good week.

Your needlerolls turned out lovely, such pretty colors. They sure look like they are having fun in the pool, what a great why to spend part of the summer. Glad you're all set to go the Philippines, I hope you have a wonderful trip.

Read in your earlier post you had taken some Zumba classes. They just started those here too, and I've taken my first one. Lots of fun, I couldn't keep up with the steps very well, but hopefully I'll get better.

My daughter has finished school for the holidays too now but is at work experience for the next 2 weeks at the childres nursery near to us.
Have fun on your holiday, i'm sure it will take the post at least a week to deliver to Texas from the UK, so i'm sure you will be fine.
