A Happy Dance!..Edited-thanks Cath and Julianne

Edited: I went out to visit a friend just after sending the post and when i got home thunder and lightning started so better not get online. Glad it didn't take long. Thanks so much Cath and Julianne for the scan-of the Margaret Sherry design.

What would you do in between packing and sorting with no internet?? Stitching!!!

Summer Breeze
Prairie Schooler book no. 137
32ct belfast linen
DMC threads

While sorting, i had found one of the unfinished RR and thought to do the two blocks.

I had only added my printed copy with the piece when i put it aside before, now i cannot see clearly the different colour for the purple flower.

I don't like to go and open up boxes to see where the original copy is. Does anyone have this design and can scan it for me? I really appreciate it.

Also found an unfinished hardanger which i nearly threwn away before when i made a mistake pulling out the wrong thread. I was nearly finished with it when it happened.

As you can see below where i went wrong. I decided to finish it off and will use it one day, i think not everyone will notice the mistake....i hope!

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. Thanks so much for stopping by and all the wonderful comments. I really appreciate them all!

Hope you get someone to help you out on the chart side. Too many boxes to go rummaging through!

Wow, wonderful finishes. I can't see anything wrong with the hardanger. I have stitched some of those patterns and I think I still have the patterns. Give me a day or two to see if I can find it.

Your hardanger is beautiful! Enjoy it and don't worry about mistakes. It's all part of handcrafting and only makes a piece more beautiful.

Congrats on your Summer Breeze finished. Your "nursery rhymes" blocks looks great and cute! I'm sure my daughters will like it very much. May I know who is the designer? Your hardanger piece looks pretty. I don't think anyone will notice your mistake if you place some decor on top of it. :)

Mooie borduurwerken maak je! Goed dat je dat hardangerwerk toch afgemaakt heb, zonde om te laten liggen - veel te mooi!

Don't you love stitching on Prairie Schooler piece, Mylene? They just always leave me feeling comforted... Your Summer Breeze sampler is just lovely. Gosh, summer is almost here--guess I should begin some summer stitching of my own :)

Continued luck with all of your packing...

That PS finish is fabulous! I love it.
Your Margaret Sherry one is just darling. I'm glad you were able to get what you needed so you can finish it.
And your hardranger? Just beautiful. I would definately keep it. mistake and all. Heck you can always use it on a table and put a figurine on the spot with the mistake. :)

Your hardanger is beautiful!! I would still use it anyway as I don't think anyone would notice the error.

Mylene, your PS finish is absolutely lovely. I wish I would have more time to stitch PS pictures, if I could I would fill the whole flat with them :)

Good luck with the packing, too, but take time to stitch as well, one always need some time to relax and get back the energy lost.

Best wishes, Edit
