Hardanger update

I finally had the courage to work on the finishing of this hardanger piece using the hemstitching technique and so far it is going well. Hope to be finish with it soon so it can be use, only this was intended for our kitchen table before which was smaller than what we have now.

Also finished all the inside parts for this one and now ready for cutting the outer part.

(You can click on all pictures to enlarge if you want)

Went to picked up Max yesterday, and will be here for a while i think. Hopefully, the weather clears up as it's been on and off rain and quite windy.

Bought these hosta's more than a week now and just transfer them into a bigger pots. I'd rather not put them on the ground as my garden is pretty small.

It will not take long and this peonies will pop up!!

Thank you all so much for all the lovely comments over my last post. I really appreciate them all. Hope you all are having a good week.

What beautiful work! Those are amazing pieces.

We've got the off and on rain too. Makes things very green, though.

Gorgeous hardanger pieces Mylene. :0)My peonies are budding too - won't be long now until they're in full bloom. Unfortunately the slugs & snails think the hosta in my garden is a banquet just for them.

Beatuful hardanger pieces Mylene I will look forward to the happy dancing on these.

Like you I only have a small garden but I find pots can make it look so much bigger. We also have a lot of trellising which means I can grow things up and hang pots on it which also creates the illusion of it being so much bigger than it is.
